First off, if you buy the box of 25 teabags, they come individually wrapped which was great for me in an office setting. If you buy them in the cylinder packaging, they are just loose bags (which isn't a big deal, just good to know.)
Guess I should've taken pics for this review before I drank it all.
The reason these are better than other black teabags is because they have more intact leaves vs the CTC (cut, tear, curl) stuff you find in others. This noticeably reduces the bitterness and lets you actually taste the tea more.
The pyramid bags are decently sized and provide good enough flow, and there is almost no dust or particulate.
Other than that it tastes like what you would expect from an Indian black tea, just a more specific taste because its from Assam, and not a blend of different regions like really big companies make.
I like that it says hot water on the packaging instead of boiling water, because you should probably use less than boiling for this and take the bag out after 2-3 minutes.
The packaging does say that it is whole leaf which is not right, its definitely well broken up and nowhere near whole leaf.
At about $0.42 a cup for the box of 25 individually wrapped bags, I'd say its definitely worth it and you should give it a try if you're curious.
